Oil Painting Training #1

Level 1 – Initiation (Beginner)

Objectives : Discover the technical basics and develop independent practice.

  • Introduction to materials: brushes, mediums, supports, canvas preparation.
  • Understanding of pigments, color values, and mixing.
  • Study of the basics: gradients, glazing, impasto.
  • Practical exercises: simple still lifes (fruit, geometric objects).
  • Final project: a small canvas with a simple subject (still life or minimalist landscape).

Duration: 3 to 5 days per session of 3 to 5 hours, on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Oil Painting Training #2

Level 2 – Advanced (Intermediate)

Objectives: Develop technical mastery and introduce composition.

  • Study of contrasts (chiaroscuro, warm-cold, complementarity).
  • Construction of a balanced composition.
  • Work on light and shadow.
  • Introduction to portraits and simplified anatomy.
  • Practical exercises: study of a master painting + personal composition.
  • Final project: a more complex painting (portrait, cityscape, or detailed still life).

Duration: 3 to 5 days per session of 3 to 5 hours, on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Level 3 – Mastery (Advanced)

Objectives: Develop a personal style and deepen your understanding of advanced techniques.

  • Master techniques: sfumato, multiple glazes, texture effects.
  • In-depth study of color and atmosphere.
  • Large-format painting and visual narrative.
  • Development of personal style (realism, impressionism, etc.).
  • Practical exercises: series of studies (hands, drapery, reflections).
  • Final project: creation of a finished work, intended as an exhibition piece.

Duration: 3 to 5 days per session of 3 to 5 hours, on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Graphite & Charcoal Drawing Training #1

Level 1 – Introduction (Beginner)

Objectives: Learn to observe and master the basics of drawing.

  • Introduction to materials: graphite pencils, charcoal, kneaded erasers, suitable paper.
  • Study of grayscale and values.
  • Hatching, gradation, and texture exercises.
  • Simple sketches: everyday objects, geometric shapes.
  • Final project: simple composition with 3 still life objects.

Duration: 3 to 5 days per session of 3 to 5 hours, on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Graphite & Charcoal Drawing Training #2

Level 2 – Advanced (Intermediate)

Objectives: Develop mastery of modeling and composition.

  • Study of light (cast shadows, self-shadows, reflections).
  • Facial construction and body proportions.
  • Exercises in rendering materials (glass, metal, fabric, wood, skin).
  • Studies from photographs and live models.
  • Final project: graphite/charcoal portrait with realistic rendering.

Level 3 – Mastery (Advanced)

Objectives: Expand mastery of rendering and assert a personal style.

  • Large-scale drawings with complex compositions.
  • Advanced techniques: fine blending, layering, extreme contrasts.
  • Development of an expressive style (high realism or more free-form drawing).
  • In-depth study of movement and drapery.
  • Final project: large-scale composition (figurative scene or complete narrative study).

Duration: 3 to 5 days per session of 3 to 5 hours, on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
